Patuxent Adventure Center has been Southern Maryland's locally owned bike and paddle sports shop for over 20 years! We have a huge inventory of bikes and boats, as well as all the accessories you'll need. Our staff consists of professionally trained bicycle technicians and experienced paddlers to help guide you into enjoying Southern Maryland's great outdoors, whether by land or water!
Kayak Rental Customers: Please remember to bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and water shoes or water sandals for your paddle adventure! We will supply your personal floatation device and paddle.

Welcome to PAC! The shop is looking great and loaded with all of your favorite gear. Come on in and say hello! Our kayak rental service will stay open this Fall as long as the water is warm enough and the weather is good.
We're still getting a lot of bike service in this Fall -- in fact we broke records with repair volume this Summer, thanks! -- but so far we've been able to turn most bike repairs around without delays. We can often do minor repairs while you wait and a customary service turnaround is 2-3 days unless there are delays getting parts.
We carry some of the finest brands in biking and paddling, including Specialized, Orbea, Cannondale, Kona and Jamis bicycles; kayaks from Eddyline, Hurricane, bonafide, and Native Watercraft; and Pau Hana Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUPs).

Solomons Island Cycling's Average Joe Ride
This mid-pace ride leaves most Saturdays at 8am from the shop lot. Please have a bike that's in good shape, brind water and your helmet. Follow us on FB for ride announcements.
SMMB Rides
Southern MD Mountain Bikers rides with PAC most Sunday mornings. This ride usually leaves the Salem State Forest parking lot at 10am. This is a beginner/intermediate level ride that is 10-12 miles long.

Patuxent Adventure Center
Nestled in Solomons MD, this full service bicycle sales and repair shop is stocked with Cannondale and Specialized as well as Kayaks and SUPs for all level of paddlers. We also offer bike rentals and kayak rentals once the water is warm enough.
PAC Paddlesports Rental Location
Located less then 5 minutes from historic downtown Leonardtown, MD is another Adventure Center rental location. At this spot we offer both single and tandem kayak rentals.
