At Proteus Bicycles we have a full service department ready to take on anything from small adjustments to complete rebuilds. Our qualified mechanics service most major makes and models of bicycles. Bicycles are serviced on a first come, first served basis so please stop by our service department during regular business hours for service. Service Packages

Standard Tune Up - $124.99

A comprehensive service package for all major adjustments. Recommended annually. Our technicians will:

• Tension and true wheels

• Adjust shifting

• Adjust brakes

• Adjust bearing systems

• Wipedown bike frame and braking surfaces

• Test ride bike to ensure proper road performance

Performance Tune Up - $225

A complete drivetrain cleaning in our microbial parts cleaner plus all adjustments included in a standard tune up.

Our technicians will:

• Remove and deep clean essential drive train components in our microbial parts washer

• Reinstall drive train components, lubricate chain and derailleur pivots

• Tension and true wheels

• Adjust shifting

• Adjust brakes

• Adjust bearing systems

• Top off sealant w/tubeless setups (sealant extra)

• Update Di2/eTap firmware

•  Wipedown bike frame and braking surfaces

• Test ride bike to ensure proper road performance

*Does not include cost of parts.
**Labor for installation of drivetrain parts, cables, housing, tires, tubes, sealant, and bar tape are included with Performance tune-up. Labor for installation of brake systems, stems, bars, and bearing systems such as headsets, bottom brackets, hubs, and linkages is not included.

Complete Overhaul- $420 and up

A complete overhaul of all major components of the bike. Because all bikes are different, a service appointment is required to get a complete, accurate estimate. This service is only offered during non-peak seasons.

Our technicians will:

• Disassemble the bike down to the frame

• Overhaul or Replace headset and bottom bracket bearings

• Re-cable shifters and brakes

• Perform drivetrain cleaning

• Reassemble bike

• Perform all adjustments included in a Standard Tune Up

E-Bike Standard Tune Up - $150

A basic service package for your electric bicycle. Includes all of the basic adjustments in a standard tune up plus our technicians will:

• Perform a visual inspection of electrical connections

• Perform a visual inspection of battery and motor system

• Update E-bike Firmware (Specialized Turbo, Cannondale Hyena, and Bosch systems only for the time being)

• Clean speed sensor magnet

• Charge battery to appropriate level

• Test ride to ensure proper operation of motor, shift, brake, and light systems

E-Bike Advanced Tune Up - $250

A comprehensive service package for your electric bicycle. Includes all of the basic adjustments in the E-bike standard tune up plus our technicians will:

• Clean and inspect motor area

• Clean all electrical connections

• Torque motor mounts

• Run full diagnostic on electrical systems (Specialized Turbo, Cannondale Hyena, and Bosch systems only for the time being)

• Test ride to ensure proper operation of motor, shift, brake, and light systems
